Psychodiagnostic & Clinical Assessment
Just as a map is essential for a journey, a psychological assessment is essential for effective therapy. It prevents "guessing" and replaces it with "knowing".
Assessment enables:
- Diagnostic precision, as in: ”is it anxiety, depression or trauma, or is it a combination of factors?”
- Safety & foundation: ensuring you feel secure before diving into deep emotional work.
- Growth tracking: using baseline data to prove that the work we are doing together is actually helping.
The process involves Observation, a Clinical Interview regarding your history, Psychometric Testing, and a Feedback Session to integrate findings. It is the most direct path toward valid, targeted treatment.
The overall duration typically ranges from 4 to 6 hours, split across different days depending on your specific requirements and the complexity of the evaluation.
I also provide specialized evaluations for Psychodiagnostics, IQ, Aptitude testing, Psychoeducation, Self-Discovery & Development.
Single-Session Intervention
A Single-Session Intervention is an intentional, focused encounter designed to address a specific concern in one meeting. Lasting approximately 90 minutes, this "one-at-a-time" approach is a purposeful endeavor, not a shortcut. Through a thorough pre-evaluation, we lay the groundwork before our meeting, ensuring our time is dedicated entirely to providing the help you need in the moment.
While designed as a standalone session, this type of session is consensual and flexible-knowing that further help is always available if required. It is a way of thinking that honors your preferences, focuses on immediate clarity, and respects your time, providing a meaningful therapeutic contact that starts and ends with your specific goal.
By choosing a single-session intervention, you can:
- Gain clarity while at a crossroads in your career, education or personal life.
- Create an immediate ”toolkit” for a specific challenge.
- Assess your pre-therapy readiness.
- Prepare for a high-pressure upcoming event.
Beyond these examples, a single-session intervention is highly adaptable and can be tailored to any singular, well-defined personal goal where a concentrated therapeutic perspective is needed.
Individual Psychotherapy
Therapy is a collaborative process of making sense of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Often, "being stuck" reflects a lack of balance where unprocessed emotions spill over, disrupting how you think and act.
Drawing on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), we identify the core emotions driving your distress, moving beyond the "noise" of rumination to the primary feelings underneath. By tending to these emotions, we allow them to function as adaptive guides, revealing your true needs and informing your next steps.
From the fog of depression to the tension of anxiety, our goal is resilience. We work toward restoring your internal balance and autonomy, empowering you to navigate life with a clear, grounded sense of self.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and held once per week, though they can be scheduled twice weekly or as needed depending on your situation.
